I don't really mind the adjetive 'incomprehensible' when applied to the arts and I'm always happy to give Lynch a chance. He's produced wonderful work - and also not so wonderful - but he's definitely one to be cherished, especially amidst the boring film landscape of today.loboreporterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14752534364641934756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12254197.post-1163843394270759432006-11-18T09:49:00.000+00:002006-11-18T09:49:00.000+00:00Antonio,"Inland Empire" was shown at the AFI FEST ...Antonio,

"Inland Empire" was shown at the AFI FEST here in Los Angeles about a week or so ago. I was there that evening, but I watched something else (can't remember what now).

Anyhow, I spoke with one person afterwards. He said the film was incomprehensible -- and that it looked like cheap video.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it. Lynch doesn't always work for me, but there have been times when I found his work brilliant.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
